BOM Sourcing

BOM Sourcing — Your Bill of Materials, Our Mission

Component procurement is time-consuming: checking availability, comparing prices, researching alternatives, coordinating suppliers. We take this work off your hands. Send us your bill of materials and receive a complete quote — typically within 24–48 hours.

From Bill of Materials to Quote — Without Detours

Instead of contacting dozens of distributors for every project, querying lead times and comparing prices — just send us your BOM. We handle the entire procurement process and deliver a consolidated quote.

BOM Analysis

What We Check in the BOM Analysis

Every item on your bill of materials is systematically reviewed — not just for availability, but also for optimization potential.

Availability

Is the component in stock? What is the factory lead time? Are there current shortages or discontinuations?

Prices & Terms

Comparison of unit prices, volume prices and minimum order quantities (MOQ) across various sources.

Cross-References

Component unavailable or expensive? We research technically compatible alternatives (second source, drop-in replacement).

Lifecycle Status

Is the component active, NRND (Not Recommended for New Design) or discontinued? Early information on EOL risks.

Lead Times

Specific lead time information per item — from stock, from factory, or with reservation for long lead times.

Consolidation

All items summarized in one quote — instead of 15 separate orders from 15 different suppliers.

How It Works

Your Bill of Materials — Our Mission

Submit your BOM (Bill of Materials) via form or email. We review every item and provide you with a comprehensive quote.

What your BOM ideally contains:

  • Manufacturer
  • Manufacturer Part Number (MPN)
  • Description / Value / Package
  • Required quantity per assembly
  • Number of assemblies (lot size)
  • Desired delivery date

Additionally helpful:

  • Reference designator (C1, R5, U3 …)
  • Alternative components (if already known)
  • Notes on critical items
  • Indication whether prototype or series

Accepted formats:

Excel (.xlsx / .xls) CSV PDF ODS Via email (free text)

FAQ

BOM Sourcing: Questions & Answers

In what format should I send the bill of materials?

Ideally as an Excel file (.xlsx) with manufacturer, manufacturer part number, quantity and description. We also accept CSV, PDF and free text via email.

How quickly will I receive a quote?

Typically within 24–48 hours after BOM receipt. For complex bills of materials (100+ items), it may take a bit longer — we will give you a prompt response.

Are there minimum order values?

There is no general minimum order value. Some components have manufacturer-side MOQs (minimum order quantities), which we transparently indicate in the quote.
